For the last few months we have doing shoots for a new site we will be opening in November. The site will be called Willingly Helpless (www.willinglyhelpless.com) and the name pretty much sums up the site’s focus. It will feature known bondage models in full nude, very stringent bondage, but with the relaxed, consensual overtones that you are used to seeing at Imago Studios rather than the S/M oriented, overtly sexual tone more common with other nude bondage sites.
Each set has been shot on HD video from start to end, including the tying and untying. We have also shot high-quality stills of each series. The site will allow for set purchases “a la carte” similar to the Bondage Warehouse – so for example, if you want only the 3rd set from Emily Addison plus the 1st set from Wenona, that’s all you need to buy, not a full membership. Don’t worry, we aren’t neglecting the Imago Studios site! We plan to continue that until we are old(er) and gray(er)! |

We started the new site for a bunch of reasons. Some of these are personal motivations and some are business related. On the personal side, we have always been open about the fact that we have a very wide range of interests and tastes when it comes to bondage material. So in part we started the new site so we could work with a different type of model and shoot content of a nature we could not do for the Imago Studios site. On the business side of things, we want to expand our market and reach a wider (or fully different) audience.
No, there will be no cross over by models. The models who we work with for the Imago Studios site would not do the type of material we are shooting for the Willingly Helpless site and the models we are working with for the Willingly Helpless site are experienced bondage models and not eligible for the Imago Studios site.
Interesting new site! Although I guess your response poses another question: If you weren’t up to date with the “who’s who” list of fetish models, and hadn’t intended to work with them, what inspired the new site in the first place? Could you see any of your Imago models “crossing over” between the two sites?
Honestly, we really do not know many of the current bondage models. Up until we started shooting for the new site, we really didn’t pay much attention to who was out there because we never intended to work with them. We obviously check out our competitors’ sites, so we were familar with some of the faces, but not the names. We actually had to do some research to see who was who among current bondage models. The reverse has also been true – I don’t think any of the models we have worked with so far had heard of Imago Studios. As for favorites, we always liked Sally Roberts, but we don’t think she is current – LOL

No, no membership option. The site will be zip file download, just like the bondage warehouse site. We don’t want to get ourselves trapped into having to do scheduled updates. One site is enough for that 🙂 We may release DVDs of the videos however.
Ela Darling looks like a cute girl, but she has some very larger and obvious tattoos, so we would not be interested in working with her.
